I was impressed by the attention to detail and the serene atmosphere. One of the highlights of this hotel is its lush, natural surroundings. Greenery is thoughtfully incorporated throughout the property, creating a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city. You can even hear the birds singing. Despite being in Taichung’s vibrant West District, the hotel remains tranquil and restful, perfect for relaxation. Our family of 2 adults and a teenager had a good stay at Green Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lobby had water, tea and little snacks. The room was clean and tidy but small. I like the water dispensers on each floor and carafe in the room for water, very environmentally friendly. There's a nice laundry room upstairs which is a great bonus for guests. Breakfast was in the cafe in the basement, a few set options to choose from which was ok. Parking was in a small lot a couple blocks away. The location was fine for us since we had a car. The restaurants nearby closed early except for the Japanese restaurant next door (open til 9 and very good sushi) Overall we had a good stay, and I would recommend Green Hotel for Taichung.

There is a very cool BIG LED board made from recycled plastic bottles that you can interact with. By typing words on an iPad, they will appear on the board. Staff - friendly and helpful Bed - Comfortable location - perfect. quiet and near to place of attractions lobby - There is simple welcome drink for you standby at the lobby Toilet - Very clean, and they even include washing liquid and cloth spray for you. Very thoughtful

The room was very comfortable with plenty of space for luggage. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the hotel's amenities. We were relieved the bathroom with its glass wall had a curtain to pull across for privacy. We made use of the hotel's bikes on the Greenway though would have wanted some more stable bikes for a longer cycle.
